The Home
The Boyne Residential Care Home is a wonderful Victorian family house situated in the pleasant area of Ruislip Manor. Originally converted into a residential care home back in 1992 and recently extended and developed (2005) to improve both size and facilities. The Boyne Residential Care Home is centrally situated in the heart of Ruislip manor and just 5 minutes walk from the local shops and transport (local train station / buses). Our residential care home offer first class accomodation for 25 residents and our aim to create a 'cosy' and 'homely' atmosphere for all the valued residents of our residential care home.
Accommodation
The Boyne residential care home has 19 single bedrooms (12 en-suite) and 3 double bedrooms (1 en-suite. Every bedroom is tastefully decorated and all new rooms have areas exceeding 12sq metres, with en-suite facilities, suitable for wheelchair users. Bedrooms are fitted with a temperature control system, hot and cold water faucets, Alarm call cords, TV and phone sockets. Large windows ensure plenty of natural light and at The Boyne residential care home in Ruislip Manor, we encourage residents to bring in their own possessions to personalise the room. Every effort is made to create a homely atmosphere.
Care
At The Boyne Residential Care Home we provide highly qualified staff, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to cater for our residents needs.
Living Areas / Dining / Conservatory / Gardens
We have 2 lounges that are inter-connected and the larger lounge a-joins our beautiful conservatory. The large lounge is equipped with a 42" Plasma TV and the smaller lounge has a seperate TV for residents who would like to watch something different. We also provide a reading-activity room and a seperate quiet room. As a 1st class residential care home we provide a large dining room that is spacious and offers comfortable seating for all 25 residents. The landscaped garden is large and spacious with patios, water features, raised flower beds, benches and beautiful walkways. Residents are encouraged to use the garden during the summer and in the evenings our residents enjoy sitting around the fountain. Every August we hold a Garden Barbeque for family and friends and with our extended seating we can accomodate over 50 people.

Activities
The Boyne Residential Care Home in Ruislip, Hillingdon recognises the importance of social intergration, therefore various regular activities take place: quiz nights, sing-alongs, card games and the involvement of Elm Park Community Centre. We hold seasonal events such as our traditional christmas party when we invite various entertainers.
Well Being
We aim to meet the individuals wishes and needs at all times. Regular visits take place from Hairdressers, Chiropodists, Manicurists and Pedicurists. The local Church is also only 200 yards away.

At the Boyne Residential care home we have a 24 hour monitored security CCTV system that operates for the safety of all residents. You can be rest assured that 'all' our residents receive a secure and safe environment and we encourage freedom, choice, integrity and independence.
