Comprehensive Eye Examinations:
As quality local opticians we offer you eye examinations using the very latest, state of the art equipment, including digital retinal photography. This enables us to take photographs of the actual retina, giving a far more detailed examination and eye care than previously possible. We can then store these images on our computer, allowing us to compare images, highlighting any changes. This is the best possible system for monitoring your eye care and on-going health of your eyes.
Diabetic & Glaucoma Screening:
Screening is carried out using a digital retinal photography and Zeiss Humphreys field analyzer (used in 99% of all UK Hospitals for Glaucoma testing). Our staff hold Diabetic Accreditations with Northwick Park and Central Middx Hospital.
Home Visits:
If you cannot get to our opticians practice due to mobility difficulties, then we will come to see you in the comfort of YOUR own home. Please call for more details.
24 Hour Spectacle Lab:
Northwood Eye Centre offer a 24 hour service on most prescriptions.
In House - Chiropody / Podiatry & Hearing Checks:
For your convenience we offer you an in-house Chiropodist and Podiatrist. Many people suffer from hearing loss and not aware of the problem. We offer you a free routine hearing check, treated in the strictest of confidence (over 18yr olds only).
