Jan 2013. Wt have a set of Carlton Suitcases which gave great service over many years. However over time all the zip tags snapped, leaving the cases difficult to close and impossible to secure, so we downgraded them to loft storage and forgot all about them until they surfaced again in a tidy up. As they were still structurally sound we decided to see if it was economical to repair them. Googling brought up KPA in Northwood, and their customer comments seemed very good, so we decided to give them a try, and took two items (a small case and a favourite overnight bag) to visit Mr and Mrs Pardivalla. What a find! The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable, and a quick look was all it took. One week later we had 2 ‘new’ bags back in circulation, and one week after that back we were back with the remaining cases! All have been repaired at reasonable cost with first rate workmanship and no discernable change to the original finish. All are now back in service as travel bags with a completely new ease of life. Brilliant !! We can fully recommend this family business …. long may they reign !! Ruth and Neil Henderson

I have been looking for a place like this for ages, a real, proper leather repair shop. My lovely old briefcase has been given a new lease of life, repared, stitched, cleaned. Highly professional service, done with real pride, and reasonably priced. Well recommended- I'll bring my shoes here to be done as well from now on.

I would like to say a big thank you to KPA who have restored my faith in good old customer services. I live in Enfield and had 3 bags that needed minor repairs but could not find any one to do it. I was determined to get them repaired by any means neccessary and went on the reliable internet and googled hand bag repairs the rest is history I picked my bags on Thursday and KPA will now be on my recommend list. I wish them all the very best for the future will be back to them with all my repairs. I will also advertise them on our internal website within the NHS. When my Delsey suitcase handle broke i hoped that there would someone out there able to repair it. Using the internet I came upon KPA who identified and secured the spare parts from Delsey and delivered a high quality repair at a very reasonable cost. A company I would highly recommend. I took my treasured, worn Mulberry bag to KPA for some tlc. Although I'd been told elsewhere it was beyond repair it came back as good as new, at a very reasonable cost and I'm delighted. I'd have no hesitation in recommending K.P.A.
My leather purse had a broken zip and kpa shoe repairs have fixed it perfectly and returned it promptly at reasonable cost. I am very pleased to have found your business if I ever need another repair. I thoroughly recommend them.
I can't recommend KPA enough. I arrived out of the blue with my Samsonite case needing some tlc & attention. When Mr Pardivalla said it would be ready in a couple of days, I asked if it could possibly done while I waited because I had travelled some distance, he said to come back in half an hour to see if he'd got the necessary replacement parts in stock. When I did return within that time frame, my case was ready! I went on my way a very happy bunny and with change from £20! Friendly, efficient service from Mr P. and from his wife.

A friend of mine left her old samsonite cabin bag behind when the zip broke. I knew I would never be able to afford a samsonite case, but no problem K P A fixed it as good as new 12quid. Fantastic. Nice people too.
I took my Antler hooldhall to KPA and they repaired the inside zip and side pocket at very good job for a great price of £27.00. Im so very happy with the standard of work and the customer services. Thank you very much for a job well done.
Not sure how they managed to do it but they repaired the zip on my Tumi rucksack for £36. Tumi wanted £120 to do it!! Very quick and efficient with excellent customer service.
Even the manufacturers of my International Tourer suitcase wouldn't repair a zip - but "the deft-fingered genius Ajit Pardivalla" at K.P.A. had it done very quickly, at a very reasonable cost. Well worth the trek out to Northwood, this place is a treasure-trove! My cases are no longer made, so the matching pair would have had to be replaced if I hadn't learnt about K.P.A. just in time. Great service, a great range of skills and fount of knowledge, definitely (and sadly, if you don't live NW of London) one of a kind!

I am very happy with KPA. I needed the zip on a suitcase mended and it's very hard to find anywhere to do this. I had phoned Mrs Pardivilla thinking it was a firm near Glasgow and was a bit shocked to fine where it it! But I was coming to London from Glasgow for a long weekend, so I brought the case, trekked from Kew to Northwood, and found it well worth the journey - repair done, very reasonable price and a nice chat with Mr Pardivilla. I shall do the same again when I need luggage mended. Thank you very much.
Just wanted to say the SERVICE and quality of repairs was like I purchased the item as new again. I flew from Lima to London and my luggage was damaged during transit by Iberia Airlines. Since they are an Iberia Airlines service center I got my luggage repaired in no time and was arranged/collected and then delivered by them. What more could you ask for!
I had a great bag which was damaged, and have searched high and low for a repair shop. I ended up traveling 120 miles (on my way down to LHR) to see if they could fit a new zip. They didn't, they actualy fixed the damage to the zip! I collected it on my return a week later. you can't get a better service than that! Would recommend to all. S.Westwood

Having emailed them with a photo of the damage to my suitcase, I received a prompt reply informing me that the missing foot could be found or matched. Well worth the trip! excellent service and workmanship, Ajit Pardivalla is a wonderful customer service fellow. Had Paul Smith bag, brand new , but out of warranty,was turned down by Paul Smith who said it was not fixable, turned down by a further two companies who said the same, one guy told me to just buy one of his bags.Ajit took one look at it and said no problem, competative rate and quick. Its great to think there are still people out there who take pride in their work. Honestly Mr Pardivalla has to be the best in the business.
Having annoyingly damaged my large case returning from a ski holiday, and not getting far with the manufacturer, I took the case into KPA Luggage. They undertook a good quality repair restoring the case back to full working condition without requiring any spare parts. Very efficient and friendly service. I'll be keeping them in my address book in case of future incidents.....
Having presumed that the zip on my old though trusty Carlton suitcase was beyond repair, KPA advised me otherwise. The case was fixed in 3 days and is as good as new. No fuss, helpful advice, friendly service and a job well done. Thoroughly recommended. James G, Northwood.
Ajit Pardivalla is a very unusual man in todayâs retail market. He really puts his customerâs interests first (rather than his own). I found his shop on the internet. Though my main home is in Folkestone, I was prepared to travel to his shop very close to Northwood tube station (NW London). I had given my trolley case some very rough treatment â carrying heavy loads over uneven ground. A couple of the swivel wheels were about to grind to a halt. He replaced these after much searching for the various options. I am highly delighted with the result. With most retailers, the only choice would be to buy a new case â that probably is the most profitable route. If Mr Pardivalla cannot mend your luggage, then most likely, no one else in the UK can.
