At Once Upon a Time in Eastcote, we work within the ‘High/Scope’ philosophy curriculum and this means strongly believe that children learn best from active learning and ‘hands-on activities’. Our childcare routine reflects different aspects of High/Scope and this includes both large and small group time, stories, plan-do-review and quiet play times. We provide breakfast and freshly cooked lunches as well as snacks in the mornings and afternoons.
Our nursery school in Eastcote is managed by level 3 / 4 qualified staff and our continual staff development programs ensure staff are always up to date with any new legislation. Once Upon a Time day nursery only use dedicated domestic staff who take care of the fresh food preparation, the general cleaning and general maintenance of the day nursery - leaving the qualified staff to provide dedicated and total childcare.
