Unlike many childcare facilities, Hungry Caterpillar Day Nurseries offer self contained childcare areas for different age groups ensuring each day is a fun packed adventure in appropriate and fun childcare surroundings.

• Ladybirds Childcare Room for 3 -18 months

As all children are unique, moving from one room to another, only happens when your child is ready, with visits to the new room for familiarity and to give time to make new friends. As with all childcare facilities, we ensure that we work closely with you the parents, to give your children the very best childcare.  Our staff are always available for you to call throughout the day and actively encourage parental visits.

Key Carer for childcare
We think it’s important to offer a Key Carer so your child can form a bond with a staff member so they will feel safe and secure.  In our childcare facilities, a child’s Key Carer is also the parants first point of contact, giving you peace of mind, and making sure your child has the happiest of childcare experiences.

Childcare settling in period
It’s important to have a settling in period whereby your child can visit the childcare with you, in the weeks preceding their start date.  This allows you and your child a gentle introduction and removes the separation anxiety that may occur when children start their first childcare.

On premises prepared meals
Our Head Chef is happy to accommodate special dietary requirements and all food and drink is prepared on site for your child.
