I wanted to learn to drive but was very nervous! The first lesson I didn’t know what to expect, but I quickly found Ian to be very friendly, relaxed but with a very positive approach to teaching you how to drive.

With each lesson, I felt less nervous and with Ian’s encouragement more confident and really enjoyed and looked forward to the next lesson. If I had to change a lesson day/time, Ian always managed to fit me in to maintain my progress week by week.

I would recommended Ian to everyone, he is a really good and fun instructor, with lots of patience! Megan :)

Ian was an excellent driving instructor. Initially I had been apprehensive about learning to drive, but as soon as I stepped in the car i felt at ease. The lesson hours were flexible and enjoyable to do. My older brother learnt with BLU driving school aswell and we both felt the driving teaching standard was high and yet a fun experience. I passed my test first time and I would recommend Ian to anyone.

Having heard about Ian through my cousin (who was a nervous learner), who passed first time, I was very optimistic on my first lesson! The lessons were structured, productive and always fun and I'd always be looking forward to my next session. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor and they'd be guarenteed a high quality driving experience!!

I loved learning to drive with Ian. The lessons were fun, yet productive. Having had two previous instructors whom I did not improve with, my confidence came back instantly after my first lesson with Ian and I passed my test first time!

I would recommend to anyone and cannot speak highly enough of Ian.

Recently I decided to learn to drive and contacted a few driving instructors. Having spoken to a few local driving instructors for some reason I felt that BLU was the right. My mind was made up after my very first lesson with Ian. I felt great chemistry with Ian. In addition Ian was very flexible with lesson timings. Although I lacked confidence initially, I found Ian to be a really great instructor. Ian provided encouragement and first class driving tuition. Although I failed my test a few times I eventually passed! I cannot praise Ian enough for his patience and excellent guidance. I have recommended Ian to friends and relatives.

Ian is a magnificent driving instructor and i'm thoroughly glad i chose his highly professional service. Ian has a great method of teaching you to drive, communicating exactly what you need to learn. He always has a great attitude that made for a relaxed atmosphere which gave me the focus and concentration required to drive.

I could go on all day, but Ian was highly organised and on top of exactly what I'd practised with each lesson, this approach allowed me to keep a clear perspective on everything i'd learnt, and gain a great understanding in how to park! In turn I felt confident in taking my driving test and passed comfortably first time.

I went through BLU driving school 4 years ago with Ian Wade and found the experience very enjoyable. I had affordable lessons 2 times a week and passed within 5 months. Ian is a very friendly, funny driving instructor and takes driving very seriously. He is flexible with hours and does his best to meet the individuals needs. I am very happy with my experience and have recommended him to friends and family and will continue to do so.
