THE SIX BELLS PUB HAS RE-OPENED

The Six Bells has been closed for over a year, a prominent pub for Ruislip on the Ducks Hill Road, and now has been re-opened after a make-over and name change.

A fresh new name 'Cafe @ the Six Bells' will no doubt attract new and old customers to this once very popular pub.

The new owner Mr Cooper has given the former pub a more contemporary feel to attract a broader clientelle and hopes to attract families and locals.

The Six Bells is ideally located by the Lido which can get very busy in the summer season.

Food is offered opens at 10am -to 12pm everyday for breakfast and late night opening on Thursday's, Friday's and Saturdays.

I have visited this establishment once in January, February and March. The food each time was excellent. This was spoiled by the service which was poor and became worse at each visit. The staff seem more interested in talking to each other than seeing to the customers. The manager stayed outside talking to someone for the whole of our visit. Because of the increasingly bad service, we left after the main course and went to Cafe Rouge for our sweet course and coffee which was served by a charming young lady. We will not be returning to The Cafe At The Six Bells. report abuse...
