This month's meeting of the Bucks Pottery & Sculpture Society will include a talk by metalworker Vavara White.
All Vavara's sculptures are created using traditional metal forming methods, with copper being her current favourite medium. She is continuously exploring and experimenting with different ways of using this versatile material and it's wonderful qualities, enabling her to transform metal into original pieces of art. You can see examples of her work at www.vavarawhiteart.com.
There will also be a brief gathering during the tea break to discuss this year's AGM.
The meeting will be held at Little Kingshill Village Hall (HP16 0DZ) on Friday 26th April from 8-10pm. Entry is free for BPSS members, £5 for visitors. Information about the society can be found at www.buckspotters.com. We are also on Facebook and Instagram.
