- discontent
- irritable
or suffering with:
- weight gain
- palpitations
- itchy skin
- loss of libido!
- insomnia
For three quarters of all women the menopause and peri-menopause (which can strike as early as mid to late 30’s) are a time of change and unwanted symptoms which can be miserable and life-disrupting. For many years a taboo subject it’s time we discharged the myth and find a way to travel through this potentially life-affirming part of our journey as women. You don’t have to spend your life hot, anxious, introverted and struggling to maintain control!
We would like you to join us and explore your own personal experience of your menopause. Come together with a group of like-minded women, enjoy the support, empathy and understanding.
During the workshop we discuss the physical, mental and spiritual implications of the menopause, how to interact with rather than do battle with our feelings and body. We cover such subjects as nutrition - lunch is a buffet of dishes rich in the vitamins and essential minerals specifically created to balance hormones and relieve some symptoms - relaxation, exercise and understanding.
The workshop is run by two professional women who work in the mental health field and whose own experience of the menopause can help you discover that it can be an adventure rather than a dead end.
