The Beer on the Wye festival seems to have made headlines all over the country for the wrong reasons!
We had bought a copy of The Times - not the Hereford Times - The Times as we were going on a long car journey. Lo and behold I could not believe that our very own festival was featured in this mighty paper.
The beer festival had apparently run out of beer and had to be stopped a day early. Apparently so many people turned up at the festival that the organisers were surprised and unfortunately the event had to be brought to an early close on Saturday.
We mentioned this news to our friends in Scotland and they said they had heard it on the National News. What great publicity for the festival - I am sure they will not run out next year!
