It's lively; you can sit in bulgy armchairs or at tables; the cakes and sandwiches are nice and they even do hummus in things. Also, there are books and papers to read and lots of local notices of what's on on the walls.

This is the only theatre in Hereford and they manage to cram in an amazing variety of shows, films and other events. Something for everyone. The food is good too. Surroundings and atmosphere help create an enjoyable evening out every time.

Having just hired the place for 2 nights of fun, to raise funds for the Hospice I can endorse this venue. Totally professional and committed to quality, they put up with us and our daft followers. Hiring the place was a slight intake of breath occasion in terms of the cost - though I fully accept that they have their own costs to meet. the onus was on us to fill the place. Thanks, Courtyard
