I probably use Bill Childs formal wear a couple of times a year. The suits are always in perfect condition and fit properly unlike the ones I used to hire from a national shop I wont mention.

The service is very friendly, and they have great selection of dickie-bow ties as well!

We have used Bill Childs on several occasions but most notably for morning suit hire for our own wedding last year. They really are fab! A fantastic company that have got the balance right between being family run and therefore personal and friendly whilst remaining extremely professional and efficient. An outstanding champion in service where all other local competitors failed. Maintained contact throughout the process & were extremely accomodating when some of the wedding party who weren't local couldn't make it to be measured. After attending a local charity function I ended up "bidding" for a Taylor Rae "made to measure" suit supplied by Bill Childs. I was really impressed with the service and the choice that I was offered when I went to their shop. I picked the suit up when they called me and have to say I was anticipating that some minor alterations would have to be done but it was absolutely spot on. I will definately use them again for my next suit.

after being badly let down at the very last minute by a national hire firm in town, we were recommended to try Bill Childs, who provided everything needed,also getting special delivery,for the item he did not have in stock,which arrived on time as promised.
