Enter a team to raise money for SueRyderCare
This is your chance to race as a team in 30 ft chinese style dragon boats at Remenham Farm, Henley on Thames. All that's required is teamwork and a good sense of fun. This event is great fun and not only a challenge for the team but also for each individual. Friends, family and colleagues can enjoy the day from dry land whilst cheering on the teams and adding to the lively atmosphere of an event you really should add to your annual social and works calendar. This is a fun filled day out for everyone one with entertainment and refreshments All you need to take part is a crew of 7-15 people (including 4 subs) and a real sense of fun. Don't worry if none of you have any experience as each person will receive a full briefing before racing and the team will be allocated an experienced helmsman. The entry fee is £150 and we ask that each team raises a minimum of £1000 (which is less than £70 each for a team of 15) This must be brought with you on the day and we can help you with your fundraising every step of the way. Each team will take part in at least two (but usually three) races and the fastest teams will go through to the finals and the winners will receive a trophy as well as the team with the best fancy dress. To secure your place at this fantastic event please complete the entry form opposite. We will then send you a full entry pack including sponsorship forms, information on the event and venue, as well as fundraising hints and tips to help you raise as much money as possible for Sue Ryder Care - Nettlebed Hospice. We will also send you a team sheet which you need to complete with all your team member's details - this is very important and must be returned by Friday 2nd July.
