“Following numerous trips to bridal shops and after trying on countless dresses, I was under the impression that I would never ‘love’ a wedding dress. I have to say that the collection here is fabulous. Presentation of the dresses is immaculate. Designer dresses at a fraction of the price you would pay in the actual designer shops in London. Vivienne takes care to ensure you consider all the options in your quest to find your dream dress after listening carefully to your initial ideas. Did I find my dream dress........absolutely yes! Any bride finding a dress here will leave excited at the prospect of buying dream shoes with the money saved on the dress budget!

I had my heart set on a Jenny Packham dress and before I arrived, Vivienne had spent time thinking about which of her dresses would create the look I was after for my big day. Vivienne's wealth of experience and trained eye meant she knew exactly how to make the most of my shape and height. Vivienne has a knack of knowing how much help and assistance to give and her honest feedback gave me great confidence in my final choice. Viv has hundreds of dresses and she is very good at making you try on a whole range of different styles and being very honest with her opinion. I'd tried on dresses at various local London dressmakers, and while they would have worked fine I thought weren't quite right, and also were at about the £1000 - £1500 price.

A couple of friends recommended Berkshire Brides though they had not actually bought dresses there. I went along and tried on about 20 dresses and nothing really stood out, though we were heading towards a less traditional style of dress. Vivienne pulled out a dress that we had skipped past, as it looked nothing special on the hanger, and suggested I try it. The dress was just what I was looking for and came in just below £1000. It needed a little tweaking at the front and on the shoulder straps and taking up a little, so I bought it and found someone to do those adjustments for me and then it was perfect. Everyone complimented me on the day and thought it was a vintage dress that was made for me!

All I can say about Berkshire Brides is that they were BRILLIANT. I had spent a long time looking for a dress, and I contacted Vivianne, and she was so helpful in choosing my dress. I would recommend anyone to here. In fact, I have already give her number to a couple of my friend who are getting married. if you are looking for a designer dress and don't want to be ripped off and want excellent advice, then Berkshire Brides is definitely the place to go.

I bought my wedding dress from Berkshire Brides in July 2007 and sold it back to Vivienne about a year after I got married. By the time I came to Vivienne's, I'd already been to a lot of expensive designer dress shops, and I'd been very disappointed by the supercilious service and also the lack of dresses to try on in different sizes.

At Berkshire Brides, it was a completely different experience. Vivienne had a wide selection of lovely dresses at different prices and gave me helpful and friendly advice about which ones suited me. She was also able to recommend an excellent dressmaker to alter the dress into my size.

Selling the dress back after the wedding was also very easy and efficient. Vivienne had the dress cleaned professionally for me and I got quite a lot of money back, even though I'd managed to get the dress into a bit of a state at the wedding!
