Since coming in the beautiful shop I've been given crystal water and met some diverse people and bought things as small as candles and crystals to as big as necklaces and candle holders. It's like Aladdin's cave, or Dorn's cave!
Walking into this paradise is like leaving life's stress behind. I would come here to talk to hear and to listen and de-stress anytime. Had a tarot reading with Sarah and was so impressed.

Magic and Moonbeams is a magical place, where you can chill out and chat to like minded people and drink Dorns famous crystal water whilst browsing the beautiful crystals, paintings, cards, tarot decks, books and much more. Everytime i go in, something that i hadn't seen before seems to appear and i can't help but part with my money! Dorn is bubbly and friendly and gives everything she can to people and seems to know everyone by name. You can tell that she genuinly cares, and she has great passion and wisdom. The events are great! The shop was open overnight one night! I took my 11 month baby who slept through the conversations and laughter. I met all sorts of spiritualists, there were children, teenagers and adults who all offered a different perspective, and Dorn provided snacks and drinks and only asked for donations. It is more than a shop, it is a sanctuary and an experience. I'd advise anyone drawn to the occult to visit this shop. Georgie x

The very first time I ever walked into Magic and Moonbeams I felt I had 'come home'. Being there is how 'safe',loved,'valued','respected'& 'peace' feels. If you are looking for a place to be 'you' then this is it! The welcome you'll receive from Dorni is second to none - you arrive as a customer .. and you'll leave as a friend. That's a guarantee! Don't believe it? Then .. Go along and feel it for yourself! You will find acceptance, support and a place to 'be' instead of 'do'. If Dorni could bottle and sell the love and atmos in M and M then I doubt she'd be in Heanor for very long .. but while she's there - do pay her a visit. Awake your inner god or goddess and celebrate this amazing haven that we are so priveleged to find on our very doorsteps . .the sanctuary that is 'Magic, Moonbeams and yet ...so much more .....!' xxxx

I love Magic and Moonbeams primarily because of the warm and comfortably welcome you receive as soon as you walk through the door.
A lovely shop which is an oasis of calm and serenity, full of crystals, knick knacks,lotions and creams and offering therapies to soothe even the most fevered and stressed brow. The staff are friendly and helpful and encourage you to browse,test and try on to your heart's content.
The atmosphere is really lovely and welcoming. Dorni is a lovely warm person who makes you feel right at home, and they have some incredible gifts ranging from the really unusual,to the absolutely gorgeous. Dorni even makes bespoke individual personalised gifts for you, that won't break the bank. I get lost in there every time I go.
