Whilst there are larger facilities available, most Ashmere Care Homes have a smaller numbers of rooms, typically around 28, which means that they are small enough to provide a close knit environment with excellent attention to individual needs, but large enough to have plenty to do and lots of choice for company and friendship.

My mother spent but a short time in The Firs, but she was very well looked after. On all our visits we found the staff very helpful and the residents seemed well looked after and seemed a jolly bunch.
The Firs is a good location for visiting and there is good transport. The Computer Club is good to assist in following local history and places to visit. I like going to swimming in the Ashmere pool which is fully supervised and with all the modern conveniences to help the disabled.
Smalley Hall is a very caring home.
Kidsley Grange is clean and the staff are friendly.
Smalley Hall is the best care home I have come across! It is friendly, clean and the staff really do care. My mother has thrived there. She also appreciates the home cooked food.
King William is very welcoming with a nice, friendly atmosphere and clean.
