An informal and friendly business networking club where likeminded businessmen and women from Heanor and Ripley and the whole of the Amber Valley can meet to share experience, ideas and contacts and access support and advice from experts.
Networking in a Relaxed and Informal Atmosphere
Amber Valley Business Club goes out of its way to ensure that its business networking events are always friendly and welcoming.
With 10 events each year at local venues, the timings are rotated through mornings, lunchtimes and evenings to give as many businesses the opportunity to attend as possible.
Never pushy or full of sales pitches, there is always ample opportunity for catching up with contacts, sharing experiences and developing the relationships so vital to business today. With an average attendance of 30-40 businesses per meeting, there are always new faces to meet and new contacts to make.
Information and Support
Each meeting is catered and also features a guest speaker, providing interesting and informative advice and support relevant to the needs of local businesses. With representatives of Amber Valley Borough Council and many other business support groups on hand, Club members can access a wealth of additional knowledge and information from a range of experts to help in their businesses.
The Club also arranges other events to help local businesses, including a series of workshops by HMRC aimed at businesses of all types and sizes.
Member to Member Offers
In addition to the networking meetings, the Club also facilitates the opportunity for members to give and receive special member to member offers and disseminates other targeted information and promotions from time to time. As an affiliate member of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, Amber Valley Business Club is also able to offer additional related benefits and information to Club members.
Membership
The Amber Valley Business Club is run by Amber Valley Borough Council Regeneration Team, and the annual membership cost is very low. Non-members, new businesses and those considering starting up are welcome to attend an initial taster session by contacting the Club in advance and paying a single attendance fee.
