We first opened our Ladies Only Gym in July 2007 in the Market Square Romford and as you can imagine it can be quite a lonely business starting your own business especially when we both came from employed corporate backgrounds.
We also did not have much time or funds to get the word out about what we do. I went to our first meeting and found that there was a strong local business vibe in Havering that I did not realise existed and now one that over 2 years down the road no feel very much part of to a point where other local business’s now want to jointly promote themselves alongside our brand in the Borough

Since joining the HCCI we have benefited greatly not only through the sharing of valuable information, but through the networking meetings and seminars.
