Footprints Day Nursery in Romford, Havering is a small family run nursery school, which is registered for 12 children aged 2 to 5 years of age. Our aim at Footprints Day nursery is to provide the highest quality of care for your child in a safe, happy and stimulating environment.

OUR STAFF
Our friendly and professional staff at Footprints day nursery will ensure each child receives quality personal care. All our staff are highly qualified professionals with NVQ3 qualifications and above. They are experienced in Childcare, First-aid and Food Hygiene.
Correct staff ratios are kept at all times as set by the national standards. The nursery holds a maximum of 12 children.
OUR FACILITIES
Footprints Day Nursery is conveniently located near Romford town centre and railway station with an easy access drop of area with off road parking for your convenience. The nursery is a refurbished detached bungalow with two main playrooms and an outside play area. It has been fitted with child size toilets and low level basins with many safety features, including:

PRE-SCHOOLERS 3-5 YEARS FOLLOW THE FOUNDATION STAGE CURRICULUM WHICH CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING 6 AREAS OF LEARNING:

- Personal, social and emotional development
- Communication, language and literacy
- Mathematical development
- Physical development
- Creative development
Quiet time is encouraged, by reading in the book corner or watching appropriate videos. children will be given a basic introduction to music & movement and computer studies.
NURSERY SCHOOL MEAL TIMES
At Footprints Day Nursery, in Romford, Havering we ask parents to provide their child with a healthy, balanced packed lunch. Breakfast, drinks and snacks are inclusive, with our aim to provide a hot meal. We believe meal times are to be a happy, social occasion and therefore children will eat with their peers. This will enable them to eat together in a responsible way and gain good manners for the future.
All our food is freshly prepared by our staff who have relevant food certificates.
OPENING TIMES
We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year, excluding Bank Holidays and the period between Chritmas and New Year.
