Safer Neighbourhood Team Public Meeting
20th October 2014
... Comments

As many who attend these meetings or watch live on the web, you will know that we are becoming more technical with the way that we ask you to submit your suggestions for consideration for new priorities and the voting of these priorities by members in the hall or those sitting at home and voting online.

With regards to the upcoming meeting the following changes will take place, as a trial.

All suggestions for priorities must be received at the police station no later than the 1st December.  Now the choice is yours as to how you want to submit your suggestions, you can either complete the form that was emailed to you and send it on to Insp Peter Ferrie or complete it and hand it in at the station or even attend the station and complete a form at the station, ideally though we would encourage as many of you as possible to complete the form atWWW.HAVERHILLVOTE.CO.UK. There will be no suggestions taken on the night.

Please feel free to let your friends and neighbours know of this new format as not all attendees will receive this email.

Once the suggestions have been received,  they will be narrowed down to 9.  These will then be put on the big screen at the meeting and on the website ready for voting on the night, the way we vote for the final 3 priorities will not change for either online voters or those attending the meeting, a voting slip can be completed and placed in the ballot box. Cllr Pat Hanlon & Roz Hendriks will then collate and count the votes and they will be announced live.

We look forward to seeing you in December.
