Beautiful, traditional, timeless – there’s a reason why red roses remain one of the most popular gifts on Valentine’s Day.
However, most of us are all too aware of the soaring prices of flowers during the month of February – which is why it’s so refreshing when a local florist sells a dozen red roses at the same price all year round! Yes, you read that right – Blooming Lovely Studio doesn’t raise its prices by a penny for Valentine’s Day!
Situated just off the High Street in Haverhill, Blooming Lovely Studio provides you with two options:
- A dozen stunning Upper Class roses for just £45 plus delivery
- 12 Grand Prix roses for £60 plus delivery
Remember – there are only a couple of days until Valentine’s Day, so make sure you call Blooming Lovely Studio first thing on Monday to avoid disappointment.
Ensure your flowers last with thebestof Haverhill’s tips
If you are the lucky recipient of a dozen red roses this Valentine's Day, you’ll want to make sure that they last for as long as possible. Here are our top tips to keeping them looking beautiful:
- Cut the bottom of the stems at an angle so that the roses can absorb more water
- Cut any of the leaves that would otherwise be under water to prevent them from rotting in the water and making the water smell
- Add any flower food to the water, which will provide your roses with essential nutrients and help them last longer
- Place your flowers in a room that has plenty of natural sunlight
- Change the vase water every three days; add fresh flower food if available and cut the end of the stems again
- Remove any flower heads as the die to keep your bouquet looking fresh
