Another traditional fairytale was brought to life by the Centerstage theatre company on Saturday at the Haverhill Arts Centre with their adaptation of the Mother Goose tale. There were laughs all round as the story unfolded from the goose farm, to the underwater world of the pool of eternal youth and back to dry land for the finale. Credit should be given to the young actors who delivered their lines without fault and with confidence and to the two youngest members whose dancing was as good as their peers. Special mention should also be made to the young lad who played the Demon King who is a rising star. Plenty of audience participation and jokes kept everyone entertained and the quality of the backdrops made the story seem all the more realistic. Another great performance in the bag for Centerstage, Haverhill's very own theatre company.
