Live Music for Harwich and Manningtree
Manningtree's Red Lion public house isn't content just offering some of the best food and drinks to be found in the Harwich and Manningtree area - on Saturday nights between September and June they also host evenings of live music in their 80 seat function room. Reputable and popular, Music Upstairs regularly plays host to some of the best national and international live music bands, singers and vocalists around, with an emphasis on the best acoustic, blues and jazz bands, and great support acts. These much loved events frequently sell out well in advance thanks to the calibre of both the bands and the venue, which boasts its own separate bar so you can grab a drink at the interval. It's just not possible though to express in words how good the Red Lion's live music nights are. Nor is it possible to recommend strongly enough that you call the Red Lion on 01206 395052 to book your seat before someone else does.
