This is the nearest to Italy that we've found in the UK & are returning for a special birthday this Friday! The food is superb, portions are so generous, even our hungry man found it hard to get through the plate of linguine alle misto di mare following the wonderful chicken livers in marsala wine sauce, but somehow we managed to share a mouthful of yummy zabliogne which Franco created especially for us - off the menu!It's worth the 85 mile journey from London! We are looking forward to Franco & his family's wonderful hospitality! It's not just the best in Clacton, but we think the best in the UK, if not all of Europe including Italy!
What a fantastic place, we went there New Year's Eve, great value set meal, big portions of the best food, great service and bag pipers to make the eve really special. The best place to eat in Clacton.
