Here's some information I've received about networking which may be of interest;
“Harwich in Harmony is following on from the success of Colchester Connected and the recent launch of Tendring in Touch. It is being co-ordinated by the Harwich School in collaboration with Nat West Bank, the Harwich Port, Harwich Haven Authority, Business Link and Hutchison Ports who are involved in supporting a brand new Business, Administration and Finance qualification for the students in Tendring.
‘Harwich in Harmony’ will be run by the Business students with the support of the school and the businesses. We firmly believe that if we are to nurture the future business entrepreneurs of the future we need to start young. What better way than to give students of business the opportunity of administrating, organising and promoting business in their local community.
We are also really pleased that Lynette Allen, Broadcaster, Author and Business Coach and Chris and Barbara Spraggons, organisers of this year’s National Powerboat Championships, being held in Harwich during the weekend of 30th July to 1st August have agreed to be our guest speakers. They will have lots to say about networking and are passionate about promoting Harwich as a place to live and work.
‘Harwich in Harmony’ will:
- meet on the third Tuesday of every month
- be held at the premier location, The Pier Hotel
- offer first class networking opportunities
- put Harwich on the map as a leading destination for business
Hope you will be able to put the date in your diary, we look forward to meeting you at the launch of Harwich in Harmony.”
The first meeting is on Thursday 20 April, 7.30am - 9.30am.
