ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES IN HARROGATE.....LEARNING FOR PLEASURE
It is said that we are constantly learning until the day we trip off this mortal coil, but if you have a specific interest in a subject or want to learn something new and exciting and broaden your horizons then why not enrol on a course at Rossett School, Harrogate in theirLearning For Pleasure Spring Term Programme with most courses starting in January2011.
There are some very interesting courses ranging from Acting to Furniture Restoration and everything in between.
I'm wondering whether to enrol on a course...here are some possibilities
1. Introduction to Manicure/Pedicure........mmm no...don't mind nails but hate other peoples feet!
2.Computing Beginners or Next Steps.....well I often want to throw my computer out of the window so if not this then Anger Management?
3.Ballroom Dancing......mmm...Fancy myself as the next Matt Baker?.....er no, but I bet this is really popular what with the success of Strictly!
4.Yoga for over 50's........sounds good! But do you have to get in that Lotus position...oooh (and anyway I don't qualify age wise ;-(
5.Using Your Digital Camera....I can do this already. I turn it on ,point and press....but there is probably more to it than this!
6.Wine Appreciation......sign me up!
Seriously there will be something for everyone at these Harrogate classes so make a New Years Resolution to appreciate more wine, or learn French or Sing for Pleasure. (I do but only my own..everyone else tells me to shut up!)
So come on...get out and meet some people with similar interests!
