The golf courses
Opened in 1971 the courses are well established. Their designs are perfect for today’s game.
The Ver
The Ver Course, opened in 1971, has a first class layout and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Situated in parkland, the course has a par of 70 and measures 6270 yards from the yellow tees. The course is fairly open but the ideally positioned spinneys, streams and bunkers make for an interesting round.
All tees and greens are irrigated and the greenkeeping team at Redbourn work hard to keep The Ver Course in top notch condition all year round.
The Kinsbourne
Surprisingly long at some 1361 yards, The Kinsbourne is a 9-hole Par 3 course. It offers the opportunity to use almost every club in your bag: holes range from 111 to 225 yards in length. Although every hole offers a decent challenge, there is still plenty of space for the ‘wayward ball’ making the Kinsbourne ideal for the novice golfer. All greens on the Kinsbourne are fully irrigated.
Practise Facilities
The driving range at Redbourn Golf Club is open 7 days a week, so you can improve your accuracy. The 20 bay floodlit range has top quality mats and balls and provides many targets. There is also an area for the crucial short game. A large putting green is situated opposite the golf shop and two chipping areas with three bunkers are located close to the range.
