Poonam was particularly helpful and patient in helping me with my first attempt at using contact lenses. I am glad to say that I have now mastered the insertion and extraction technique. The service from the very beginning was great. Good communication about the appointment, a friendly atmosphere when I arrived and a very thorough eye test. The result was that I don't need new glasses yet, so I was gently asked if I can be contacted within a year to repeat the test. No pushy selling and this is what I like!
I would like to say that I was very impressed with both the professionalism and level of personal service I received from your team. They spent quality time with me and I felt a very valuable customer - thank you very much -I will be recommending you. I would also like to say that the wide selection of frames was fantastic. When I walked into The I-Site last week I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate friendly service I received. I wear glasses so I am always looking in an opticians window to see what frames are available, new looks, colours etc. The range is eclectic & Nigel the owner offered me great advice & listened to my needs. He also included his associate, Lizette for her opinion. After we selected the frame I then had an impromptu examination by the wonderful optician on the premises, I went away for an hour or so & came back for my new frames & lenses ready to go. They are now my optician of choice, I would not go anywhere else. Thank you, Eliza

I'm lucky to have the i-site as a client so of course i admit to being partial but I'm occasionally moved to add my own biased voice to your local, vocal and more influential voices in praising great local business. In short - I needed new glasses (old ones damaged in a off-the bar drinking incident). Went to see Nigel and had a really good time just trying different things on to see what works. You see the online sellers offering auto face fitting services sometimes and that only makes me think how good it is to deal with real people with real skill. We chose some, they were put aside so that Mrs W could oversee the final choice a few days later. Once that little hurdle was overcome - within 24 hours (although it could have been on the spot) my lovely new glasses and I became one.A* choice, A* value and above all A* service. What a fantastic asset for the borough - come on everyone - it's just wrong to go anywhere else when The i-site is so much better.

I walked into the shop looking to buy a bracelet and wallah i was entranced and purchased 2 wonderful and amazing specs. And not only that; when I came back to pick them up I found the most fabulous pair of sunglasses. I love the personalised service, the style and the advice. I have recommended I-Site Opticians to many spectacled friends. Fab fab fab!
Great place inside..was a nice surprise to the area .....great glasses in there too, real funky ones....had a ball trying them on ..and the staff are nice ..had a giggle with them :-)
This is a fabulous and funky shop with excellent customer service. It has a great range of unusual, interesting and attractive eyewear as well as jewellery (necklaces and bracelets) so you can coordiante a whole look. The staff are so welcoming and extremely helpful, giving frank and honest feedback as you try on the glasses and going out of their way to find alternatives that will suit you. The eye testing was free when I went and was done very professionally and without rush. The whole place has a lovely ambiance - I will certainly use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
It had to have been the most pleasurable experience I had in days!! It felt like stepping into my own home, where you know you feel totally comfortable! I didn't even notice the time fly as I was seduced by the music playing in the background, and the wonderfully well made cups of tea from Nigel himself! (although, make sure you eat the biscuits quickly, as he will be sure to help you get through them.) Anyway, back to the glasses experience. I am now a proud owner of the best glasses i have ever had, and I am finding excuses to wear them,just so that I can relive the experience again :) The staff are amazing, too!! They are competent, thorough and very friendly. I would heavily recommend that from now on, use i-site as your opticians, and go in and see for yourself!!!
What is great about I-Site is that whilst they have fantastic eyewear and excellent technical resources. They do not lose sight of the importance of their role as opticians. I had excellent service at my eye-test and fortunately for me there was little change needed to my current prescription nor were any other health issues raised that I had been concerned about (I am cusp diabetic). It was agreed that I could continue with my current glasses and we would review the situation after my next test, which I have already booked. How many 'lesser' organisations would have been pressing for the sale of their products against the best interests of the clients? Congratulations I-Site!
I visited The I-Site Opticians recently as I had received glowing references about Nigel, the owner, and the eyewear on offer. The shop is unlike anything you've seen before- it has a very strong boutique classy feel and the interior design is very fresh and pleasing to the eye. I was immediately drawn to a shelf containing a particular range of sunglasses which I imagined would be very expensive only to be told by Nigelthat they were in fact one of his lower cost ranges. I was impressed! The range of eyewear is unlike anything I had seen before - wearable, affordable and most importantly a lot of them suited me. I was very tempted to buy 4 pairs but had to be restrained. I will certainly be going back and have since spoken to various friends and clients who live nearby and suggested they also go and check the I-Site Opticians out.

What a great experience I had when I went to i-Site for an eye test some months ago. The shop is very stylish and welcoming as are the staff. Fortunately the result of my test was that I didn't need glasses. Had I needed them, I would have had no problem in finding a suitable frame since i-Site have a good “stylish” variety to choose from. I have recommended “ The i-Site Opticians” to both colleagues and friends and hope that they will visit soon. Thank you again for a pleasurable experience.

I recently had an eye test at the I-site and then Nigel, the owner, personally helped me with some great looking and great value reading glasses. Can't recommend these guys enough and fantastic after sales care too.
The I Site is not like your normal optician. Instead, I found the team knowledgeable, friendly, offering great advice and providing a very personal service. They have a fantastic selection of glasses from some smaller boutique designers and if something doesn't look good on you, they tell you....nicely! If you're after something a bit different that you won't see everyone wearing, I definitely recommend The I Site.

Great to visit your shop and great advice regarding my lenses on my bespoke handmade specs. I was very impressed with vast array of choice of frames and sunglasses , something you rarely find in the high street.
I thought this would be more expensive than high street opticians, but this has turned out to be a real find. Lovely, interesting selection of frames; very competitive rates for tests, lenses and frames; helpful friendly staff and a beautifully designed shop. Will definitely be using this as my regular opticians.
I went in to get my specs adjusted and a new case and to have a chat with Nigel, the owner. Wound up having a cuppa tea, a nice chat about business, and walked out with a fabbo pair of new glasses at a great price. That was yesterday. He rang me today to say the specs are ready for collection! Fast or what?! And always with a smile! :-) I wouldn't buy my glasses anyplace else now!

From the excellent eye test, to the help you gave me in picking the right frames I constantly felt that you and your team had my happiness in mind. I’m sure that if I were in one of the chain opticians they would have persuaded me to take the most expensive frames with no regard for what suited me, but you were brilliant and I am ecstatic with my specs.
