I just love their breakfast! But aside from that it is a great place to meet friends before a night out in Guildford but having said that I have also eaten in the restaurant in the evening which was very good.

During the day I often use their free wifi in the bar and have business meetings there too.

If you haven't been there recently, give it a try.

On the 24th of March I celebrated my 30th birthday in Guildford. Lots of friends and family stayed at the mandolay and not one of them had a bad word to say. We all truely enjoyed our stay, the food was very tasty and the 24hr concierge were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and our rooms were very spacious.
I would definitely stay again.
Thank you very much for making my weekend perfect.

On the 17th June 2011 we, the best of Guildford, arranged our first twitter course for a total of 12 people.
We were provided with an ideal room with a fantastic built-in 60” plasma display screen, power points everywhere and free WI-FI, enabling everyone to hook on with their laptops and ipads.
The course was a great success and the apart from the facilities which included constant coffee and tea, the lunchtime sandwiches included in the deal were above expectation – top quality.
Well done to the Mandolay Hotel for exceeding expectations in every respect – this is an ideal venue in every way not least it’s location in the heart of Guildford – I thoroughly recommend the Mandolay, am proud to have them featured on the best of Guildford and have already booked the next course with them for September.

Smart, friendly local hotel ideally situated at the top of town - excellent breakfast and plenty of parking a great venue for our BNI event.
Massive Conference facklity in the basement, don't be misled by a relatively small facade - this place is like the Tardis !
I'd highly recommend the Mandolay as an excellent meeting venue within a few minutes walk of the town centre.
