Absolutely amazing. Life changing. Haven't seen like this since I was about 8 years old! As I had mono-vision, I can now see both distance and can read without glasses. Also wonderful aftercare at Optegra so the extra distance is worth it to make sure you are completely happy. You feel you are very important to them.
As the Optometrist at the Surrey Eye Hospital I have seen many patients enjoy the benefits of Lasik. After having it done myself I too am enjoying the benefits. I wake up and can see clearly, I no longer have to pack numerous solutions to go away or carry prescription sunglasses. It is all such a joy.
On 23/06/11 i had Lasek eye surgery done at Optegra and I am absolutely over the moon with the results! I never thought I could have it done as I am a coward, but the procedure was painless, quick and very relaxed. I had Laser Vision Correction at Optegra.I wish I'd had it done years ago! My vision is far better than 20:20 now, which is beyond my wildest expectations. Having suffered glasses and average vision with contacts this is such an "eye opener". My only advice to anyone is don't put it off, it IS worth it. Rob Morris and Alison Blake have provided a perfect service and I don't say that many times in life.
I had my cataracts removed at Optegra and now have Crystalens lenses which act like my normal lenses used to before I had cataracts.Crystalenses are amazing! I can now read even the tiniest print and my sight is as good as it was in my twenties/thirties.Life is much less stressful – I can use the computer without glasses, which is great and much less tiring.Colours have become more vibrant especially the birds in the garden and everyday objects, which I had thought were blue or green, have turned out to be beautifully patterned. And to be able to use sunglasses without hunting around for specs or “add-on” lenses is fantastic.Crystalens have my highest recommendation. I could never have imagined having my sight restored so fully.Thank you so much Mr. Morris and the staff and Optegra.
I can honestly say that I didn't really have any particular expectations for the surgery as I really wasn't sure how good things could be. At -12 and -15 my myopia was pretty bad and before my initial consultation I knew that laser treatment just wasn't possible. I'd previously heard of implanted contact lenses but my eyes weren't suitable for this treatment which left replacement lenses.I was pretty anxious before the surgery but the results are truly miraculous for 99% of the time I don't need any correction and have reading glasses for those occasions where the small print is just too small. I am just amazed each morning as I was immediately after the surgery.Once again many thanks and please feel free to use my comments for customers seeking comfort in the procedure.
For years I have considered laser treatment, but never pursued it because I was too nervous of the risk of scarring to my eyes. Mr. Morris explained clearly why my fears were groundless and took time to discuss exactly what I wanted to achieve. Everybody at the clinic was very supportive and friendly and I am delighted with the results.

My experience at Optegra was second to none; the staff were fantastic from the other nurses, to the optometrist whom gave me the most thorough eye test I have ever had, through to the expert hands of Rob Morris who performed the surgery. I was made to feel at ease throughout the whole procedure. Everything was explained to me in great detail and the after care has followed in the same manner. I had LASIK laser vision correction at Optegra. My experience with Optegra was wonderful! The operation was explained in a very straightforward way and I was informed step by step what was happening. There was a slight pressure when each eye was being kept open but the actual procedure did not hurt and it was over in a matter of minutes. By the time I left the hospital I could see almost clearly and better than I had in years. After a few days my sight was perfect and it felt almost unbelievable that I had even had a procedure!

I had a fantastic experience with Optegra Eye Care.The place is great, staff are very professional but also very friendly, and the most important: Dr Levy has done such an AMAZING job with putting my flap back that it healed almost INSTANTLY!After only about half an hour, the pain and any discomfort was TOTALLY gone and it just stayed that way! The same day after the treatment I felt like I could go and party ;)) I must say I'm very impressed not only with his precision and the shocking speed of my recovery, but also with the way he emotionally deals with patients and guides you through the whole operation. I congratulate Optegra for their efficiency and well organised establishment in Guildford. Their very modern equipment provided and used by the various consultants to carry out their operations is reassuring.On entering Optegra my wife and I were given a complete tour of the premises which were spotless and impressive.I was a little apprehensive about the removal of my cateract as I had lost the sight of one eye due to an accident in my youth. However, my consultant Ms Gilvarry took great pains to ensure there were no underlying problems which could endanger my remaining sight in carrying out the operation.The operation was painless and a great success and now I only require glasses for reading and it is a pleasure to drive again.
