The Olivetto Italian restaurant was opened in Tunsgate, Guildford in 1999. The opening followed hot on the heels of the success of its sister restaurant, the Olivo restaurant, also in Guildford. The two Italian restaurants have quickly earned a reputation for their authentic, delicious Italian cuisine.

The Building is located in Guildford High Street, in front of the Guildhall, dating back to Elizabethan times when it is believed to have been the house of the Town Mayor.

In similar character to Olivo Guildford, Olivetto boasts open beams, wooden floors and a very attractive bar where guests can enjoy a pre-meal drink. This convivial atmosphere extends to the front dining area where a meal can be enjoyed overlooking the High Street and famous Guildford clock.

Olivetto means little Olivo.

Olivetto, follows the same principles of Olivo in providing fantastic traditional Italian cuisine. The Olivetto restaurant focuses on traditional Italian cuisine, that it is the one that Italians eat at home or in restaurants off the tourist stream.

Using good quality raw ingredients, all of the Italian dishes on the menu are prepared from scratch. Which means of course that you need to adopt an Italian approach to your food. Rome wasn't built in a day, and so therefore your Italian dish needs time to be prepared!!

Our traditional Italian cuisine is complemented by a wide range of Italian wines, allowing you to complete your exploration of Italy through your taste buds.
