Guildford Rugby Club Information

Over the last 50 years, Guildford Rugby Club has established itself as one of the leading rugby clubs in the country, with exceptional facilities that cannot be matched in Surrey.
Our pitches are used regularly for club games, youth coaching sessions and county matches.

Guildford Rugby Club coaches rugby players of all ages and abilities:

Mini Rugby

Enjoy a fun-packed Sunday morning as part of the Guildford RFC Minis.
The rugby club welcomes players from 2 to 12 years, teaching players to Mini Rugby - a format that introduces them to basic rugby skills and allows them to progress towards the 15 player game.

Under 6's are unable to play competitive matches for insurance reasons, but we do run an under 5's non-competitive, non-contact game in order to develop players' ball skills.

Youth Rugby

Guildford's RFC Youth is growing stronger every year, due to the rugby club's quality coaching, great pitches and friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
The six youth teams have seen many boys being selected at county level and with over 160 players across the six age groups, numbers are continuing to grow.

Women's Rugby

The Guildford Gazelles were formed 5 years ago, mainly from new women and girls new to the sport of Rugby.
It has developed rapidly, with a senior and youth section represented by all ages and abilities, from total beginners to ex-premiership players and the teams enjoy both the sport and social aspect of being in a team, with many events organised throughout the year, including a Guildford Gazelles tour.

We are always on the lookout for new women rugby players, so get in touch and give it a try!

Senior Rugby

With 1st XV, 2nd XV, 3rd XV, Shires XV and Senior Development teams, our doors open to players of all standards to train and eventually play in one of our five rugby teams.

Rugby training is every Tuesday and Thursday, from 7:30pm until 9:00pm, led by fully qualified RFU coaches.
The rugby club's gym is open from Monday to Friday for members for additional fitness.
