For some time now, I have been considering subscribing to The Best of Guildford directory service and whilst waiting for my subscription to finish elsewhere, the information that you have provided relative to my business category was informative, useful and factual.

I joined The Best of Guildford around 4 weeks ago now, and the process could not have been easier; the page was taken care of, the detail was extracted from my existing website and amendments required for my compliance sign off was achieved in a matter of hours.

Furthermore, the testimonials that I had achieved with my previous directory were all transferred across. This has made joining The Best of Guildford an easy decision and one in which as a business, I am taken seriously rather than just another number as I was on a previous site.

Sally a good friend of mine introduced me to bestof Guildford. She and Paul have been inspirational to new businesses. Sally has been promoting my beauty therapy treatments and my semi permanent lashes every day since she new that i needed to benefit from extra work at home and create more interest in my salon services. I have been a member of The Best Of Guildford for a year now. The site definitely brings me business and in addition I use it as a tool to secure future business. As a florist and specifically with the wedding side of my business, I use the testimonials section on ‘The Best Of’ to my advantage. I have contacted past brides for whom I have supplied the flowers, and asked them to write a testimonial on the site within my advert. Then, in my consultations for new business I suggest they visit ‘The Best Of’ to read them, as an independent site I see it as being as good as telephoning the brides themselves. It is an excellent back up to my presentation and draws attention to the site for my business and other businesses on it.
I recommend to current advertisers on ‘The Best Of’ to ask your clients to write testimonials for your business on the site, it not only backs your business, but could generate business for other advertisers and vice versa, more traffic to the site HAS to be good.
Also, which service would you use the one with 0 testimonials or the one with 10 good ones?

I have been a member of ‘The Best of Guildford’ coming up for a year. I found Paul and Sally very helpful, prompt and friendly from the start and have certainly gained business from being on the site. The explanation of my business is clear with lots of pictures and the space for customers to leave testimonials works really well as my customers can check this independent site for references.

This website is fantastic from a business and personal perspective. Setting up a business listing with them was easy and the staff very friendly.
