Liz Kirk has a degree in Modern History and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), both from the University of London. She has 14 years experience of teaching in the secondary maintained sector, 10 years at a Guildford school, and over the course of her career has taught subjects including English Language and History at A' Level, GCSE English and History, and Geography up to and including Key Stage 3. At the beginning of her career, Liz Kirk was a Head of Department at a comprehensive school in East London.

She uses her knowledge and experience, supported by her constant research and regular contact with admissions staff at universities, to provide up to date advice and guidance to all of the students and parents/carers that use her services.

She aims to help students navigate a successful path through the UK university application process and uses her knowledge and experience, gained through many years of working in education, to help with the critical decisions relating to post GCSE subject choices and where required, what to include in a mix of GCSE subjects.
Parents play a vital role in all of these processes and Liz Kirk likes to work as much as possible in collaboration with both a student and their parents or carers.
