Shooting Star Chase hospice care for children provides help, support and friendship to families with children and young people who are not expected to live beyond their 19th birthday.
The charitable organisation provides a network of care and support in homes and local communities through their award winning Community Care Team and at Christopher's, their hospice outside Guildford. This vital service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year for families with life-limited children throughout Guildford, Surrey, Sussex and South West London.
Shooting Star Chase enables these children and their families to live as full lives as possible, creating special memories and ensuring that every single day counts.
The journey families share with Shooting Star Chase continues from diagnosis of the child's condition through to bereavement and beyond. It is a relationship that can last for many years and without which many families would find it impossible to cope.
