I would like to recommend The White House Hotel on Herm Island. We have been three times over the last couple of years and never fail to be amazed by the welcoming friendly staff and the excellent hotel facilities. We recently went on the gourmet weekend which I would highly recommend the food was out of this world and the wine choices for each course were exceptional! We have stayed in three different rooms each room being beautifully decorated and pristine clean, but the main feature of each room has to be the stunning view!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of a meal and an overnight stay at the Cobo Bay hotel. The welcome that we received when we checked in couldn't have been more friendly. When we settled in our room we were surprised by the super modern bathroom and loved the modern four poster bed with canopy. Our meal was delicious and the waiting staff were as efficient and friendly as we've come across. The only disappointment was the weather as it would have been lovely to look out over a sun drenched sea from our balcony. Oh well there's always next time.

After enjoying the £10 menu a while ago we simply had to go back to see if the excellent food and service was just a fluke. Happily to say it wasn't, as all fourteen of us in our party agreed. My starter was lovely fluffy potato skins loaded, and I mean loaded with a combination of cheeses. Then it was followed with a seafood Thai curry, and the seafood was a plate full of fresh local scallops... simply awesome! And to round off the meal I chose the banofee pie which turned out to be one of the lightest ever, so scrummy. And all of this for only a tenner. And it isn't only the food that is superb, the staff are pretty good as well. Friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. I recommend that you take your chance to try the Imperial before this offer ends, you won't regret it.
