Being part of The Best of Guernsey has seen two great benefits for Sueco Outside Catering. Firstly we were nominated and went on to win The Most Loved Business in Guernsey 2010 in the 14 Days of Love campaign. You can imagine what that did for staff morale. Secondly their 'Back of a Bus' promotion. When both of these are running we definitely see a spike in the amount of internet traffic coming from The Best of Guernsey to Sueco Outside Catering and about 82% of that traffic ends up in bookings so we are really pleased. Thank you for inviting us to 'The Best Of Guernsey' event at Sausmarez Manor. I attended an 'Advanced Social Networking Workshop' presented by Simon and found him to be extremely knowledgeable about the subject, explaining concepts in simple, easy to understand terms and bringing the subject to life in a way I had not previously understood. I would be happy to recommend Simon to anyone wishing to gain an in-depth knowledge of social media and its value as a modern business tool.

I contacted Kate after finding The Best of Guernsey when searching on the Internet. Kate met with me and we discussed the benefits of advertising on The Best Of and plans Kate had to get her clients' businesses out there. Kate didn't do the 'hard sell' which is great as that would have put me right off. I realised though that by advertising in The Best Of that I would get my business to the top of search engines. This was the case as new clients advised me that they found me via the site. I send my clients the testimonial link so it's easy for them to add these. I can then copy them into my own website. Kate has shown a real interest in my business and probably without knowing it has given me the confidence to know I have done the right thing by setting up on my own. I know Kate has other plans to ensure that the businesses signed up get more for their commitment. Also, from a personal perspective, it's useful to use The Best Of when searching for other businesses. All in all it's well worth the investment.
