Technology
Until recently it was only possible to install home/office automation when building a new building or renovating an existing one, because a large amount of new wiring needed to be installed.
Now, however, the use of wireless technology means automation can be installed without disruption or excessive expense. Plus, if you move, you can take the wireless equipment with you!
The great thing about using Sensible is that our systems can be chosen 'a la carte', allowing you to cherry pick. For example, if all you want is to control your heating more efficiently, you can. Or, if you want improved audio from your TV in only one room, you can!
Lighting Design
Sensible has extensive experience in lighting design and can offer stunning schemes to provide atmosphere and mood for your home or office. We want our clients to save money on electricity bills and by installing LED lighting in most projects, we can save you up to 80% on house lighting electricity costs.

I had CD's in various racks spread throughout the house and I (with considerable encouragement from my wife) decided to do something about this and initially looked at another product which stored the music on central hard drive. Then I spoke to Mervyn (who is a fellow member of a breakfast club called "B4-8") and he invited me to look at the Sonos system set up in his own home. I was sold, not only on the product but on Mervyn's terrific product and technical knowledge. After some installation glitches caused by very thick granite walls in my cottage, all was set up and now I have my CD collection on central system and am also able to enjoy the added advantage on internet streaming. We are absoloutely delighted with the wireless lighting that Mervyn planned and installed for us. Our whole ground floor now has the Rako system and it is so easy to use. Everyone loves the effect and what is even nicer, because we used LED lights, hope to save on our household bills too. We also ordered all of our LED lights for our home through Mervyn which look superb, each room has several settings so we never suffer with the rooms being either too bright or too dark. Our dining room even has it's own dinner settings so we can light the areas we want and create drama within the room. If you want honest, helpful and creative advice then Mervyn is the person. He was on time with his installation and we will use his services again.
Mervyn has installed a Sonos system for me in Guernsey with good humour despite the difficulties caused by metre thick granite walls and human factors (wife) that needed diplomacy. Top result everyone should have one (I even have one in the workshop). He has also provided a system to control my heating in a London flat from my mobile phone (so there is hot water on arrival) - and of course a Sonos sytem there too. I'm saving up for additional Sensible technology. Top bloke; top service. Steve
I bought the Sonos system from Mervyn last year knowing full well I could have saved a couple of pounds buying the same equipment from Amazon or other online sources. In reality, any saving you make from cheaper online suppliers is not worth considering when you have Mervyn at hand giving advice. Iâm very very happy with the sound and video installation I have at home and its thanks to him for guidance and opening my eyes to technology which is affordable and user friendly.
Mervyn's customer service is top quality. I have the Sonos sound system installed in 7 rooms in the house and it is fantastic. Meryvn's technical advice and solution provision very quickly helped me identify what equipment I needed within the budget available. The Sonos system is intuitive and great for the non-technical minded. It is reliable and straight forward to set up. We would recommend this system and Mervyn's services to any of our friends and in fact already have!
I've had a Sonos system now for two years and it's pretty faultless, absolutely delighted with it. However, the impressive part is the great customer service that backs it up. I had a slight glitch with an update and the problem was fixed almost immediately, Mervyn you're a star!
The Sonos system does what is says on the box and we are delighted with the end result. The installation was painless and the price for what you get is very reasonable. You will soon discover that there are a number of advantages such as putting your CD collection in that attic and clearing shelf space! The products offered vary from sound, to heat & lighting all through a wireless system. We have had our house done recently using this technology and Mervyn Dʼeath has been more than helpful throughout. The products themselves have had a positive impact our home environment and at a reasonable price. The heating system will even save money over time.
