In 1992 the long established Guernsey practices known as Albany and Grange End amalgamated to become Queen's Road Medical Practice - one of three primary care practices in Guernsey.
Queen's Road Medical Practice operates from two surgeries - one at Queen's Road, making the corner with the top of The Grange in the main town of St Peter Port, and the other in the upper parish of St Pierre du Bois at Le Longfrie. Both are located in pleasant surroundings and provide excellent access with ramps and wide entrance doorways.
All of the doctors within both surgeries practise traditional family medicine and each doctor also has their own special professional interests ranging from musculo-skeletal medicine and dermatology to women's health and paediatric care to name just a few.
In addition to the fifteen partners, Practice associates and therapists, Queen's Road Medical Practice also employs locum doctors (providing consultations when doctors are on courses, holiday, or other leave), nurses, physiotherapists, independent counsellors, and an acupuncturist as well as a team of management and administrative staff. This team of 50+ professional staff strive to provide an excellent service to their patients and other stakeholders.
