Private Pet Care was set up by Charleen Clench after she decided to realise her dream and passion to offer premier pet services in Guernsey, having experienced herself how hard it is to find the right pet care when you go away.
Private Pet Care look after a variety of pets including horses, dogs and cats. Your pets will get plenty of exercise every day plus lots of playtime and cuddles.
Horse owners can be reassured that, as a rule, Charleen takes on one horse at a time and will only take on more if from the same family. This is so the horses in her care will get all the attention they need without rushing.
Dogs will board at Charleen's home - only four are taken at a time. Cats and other small animals are also cared for with the same amount of attention and love.

In addition to Charleen's nursing background, she has over 30 years' experience with most domestic animals, including horses. She also has experience with welfare animals (caring for them and then re-homing). Charleen is very passionate about supporting charities and always has many activities planned to help raise funds.

Pet Services include (but not limited to):
Equestrian - stable/field management, horse exercising and show grooming.
Dogs - home from home boarding, day care, basic training and dog walking.
Cats - home sitting, litter clean, cuddles and play.
Vet ambulance/pet taxi - on & off island as required.
Pet feeding - working late? can't get home for some reason? Call us and we will be there to help.
Pet emergency day or night - if you find yourself in a difficult situation and unable to look after your pet/s then call and we will be there to help.
Animals in need - if you come across an animal in need then please contact us and we will do our best to help or point you in the right direction.
Private Pet Care's van is customised to a very high standard with heating, air conditioning, a two way air ventilation system, vet beds, blankets and pet first aid kits.
