Radio Advertising and audio production company, Hot Source was established in Guernsey in 2000.
The company operates from an old German bunker - the former German Naval Command post on the outskirts of St Peter Port; an ideal sound-proofed underground haven where much of Guernsey's best-loved radio advertising has been produced for the past decade.
With a highly experienced, knowledgeable and artistic team, Hot Source offer great production values to businesses that realise that the way they sound is an important part of their corporate image.
Hot Source specialise in sonic ID, which could be described as the audio equivalent of a printed logo. It has three recording studios with digital music production and editing facilities.
The company also writes and produces music for television and film.
Mark Adnitt
Founding partner, Mark Adnitt has over 20 years experience in writing and recording both as a singer and producer/engineer. Mark moved to Guernsey in 1984 from London where he worked as a singer and engineer in studios such as CTS London and EMI London, working with bands and on TV commercials.
Throughout his career he has produced numerous music projects and advertising campaigns and his sense of humour has been translated into many successful Hot Source productions.
As a radio producer, Mark has produced commercials locally for clients as varied as Randall's (Len & Enid), Breda Lager and Specsavers to national brands such as Jacob's Cream Crackers and Castrol Oil.
Nick Windsor
Founding partner and Guernseyman, Nick Windsor is a well known and hugely respected guitarist with a wealth of live and recording experience. In live performance he has supported Thin Lizzy, Sister Sledge and Big Country. As a session guitarist he's played and toured with Paul Young, recorded with The Christians and featured on many other local artists' works.
As a writer/co writer he's composed music for national clients as varied as Flora Margarine, GMTV, Emirates Airlines, Specsavers (International), Sea France and documentary music for the Discovery Channel, as well as many high profile local brands.
Nick also enjoys the creative challenge of scriptwriting campaigns and was one of the co creator/writers of famous characters Len & Enid…who appeared on the local Randall's beer commercials.
Simon Prince
Sound designer Simon Prince has led the engineering and production side of Hot Source for a number of years.
He is also a music composer and an excellent drummer/percussionist. Simon gained a national diploma in music technology at Leeds College of Music.
With Hot Source his music composition and sound design skills have played an integral part in many successful audio branding campaigns both locally and in national radio advertising campaigns.
