Helped me continue dancing even after leaving school and will no doubt provide amazing classes for years to come.
We are given lots of opportunities to perform and there are lots of different types of dance classes to choose from. Expense to parents is always considered regarding costumes and shoes.
I've been attending the school since I was 3 & have had so many opportunities to perform in musicals, dance festivals, summer schools, eisteddfod, & going away to lots of dance competitions. I love it!!
Jake thoroughly enjoyed his time at Avril Earl, it really helped develop his confidence and enabled him to mix and make new friends with children he didn't previously know. Avril encouraged Jake to overcome his shyness to the extent that his performance as Charlie Brown at the local Eisteddfod and in front of other large audiences brought the house down!
My daughter loves her dancing classes and since moving from England has made lots of friends and enjoyed the supportive dedicated teaching at Avril Earl - thank you!
My daughter joined this dance school when we moved to Guernsey a few years ago. She always showed talent for dancing but has absolutely flourished under the guidance of the dedicated teachers. She loves every minute of it - it is her second home!

I’ve been going to Avril’s classes since I was 4. I’ve done modern, tap and musical theatre and taken part in large shows, Eisteddfods, Dance Festivals and The Dance World Cup in Jersey. I’ve learnt a lot and still continue with musical theatre classes which I really enjoy. I’ve also made lots of different friends through the school.
Both of my daughters, aged 4 and 8, attend The Avril Earl Dance & Theatre Arts Centre for ballet with the eldest also attending musical theatre classes too. Everyone there is always so friendly and welcoming. My daughters' great-grandmother came to watch their ballet classes recently and she commented on what a wonderful way Miss Tracey had with the children - which is absolutely true. Highly recommend anyone to join the centre.

I joined Blondel Earl when I was fairly young and it gave me the love of drama and theatre that I have carried with me since. The teaching is excellent, and I learnt more than simple acting techniques as we engaged with different dramatic practitioners and learned about different styles of theatre. The other students there were always friendly and enthusiastic and it has a real family feeling. Being part of Blondel Earl was one of the msot enjoyable experiences of my young life and I am glad for all it has taught me.
I've been going to the Avril Earl Centre since before it even took on that name, doing everything from tap dancing to musical theatre to the full scale productions at Beau Sejour. Going to lessons with Avril has developed me not only as a dancer and actor (she's a fab teacher) but also as a person, bringing me out of my shell and making me more confident socially. Avril is always so friendly and open with everyone, nobody ever feels left out or unappreciated and all the teachers strive to get the very best they can out of the pupils. Highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!
Drama lessons are lots of fun. I have got so much more confidence and learnt great skills - so much so - I won my Eisteddfod class last year!
My grandchildren attend this wonderful school and have so much fun and are given so much encouragement. it's a joy to see their confidence grow. Thank you Miss Tracey, Miss Lucy and Miss Avril - all wonderful teachers!

I have been guest teaching at this school for the last ten years of summer schools and what they offer in terms of experience, fun and professional teaching is second to none. The standard of students is fantastic and would rival any UK school I know.
The Avril Earl Dance and Theatre Arts Centre is one of the most well run, fun, character-building places you could send your child. Avril Earl is patient with all children and has experience in the performing arts - but, she makes it more enjoyable and less competitive, thus allowing AED&TAC to be the better (IMHO) performing arts club in Guernsey. Having attended this club from the age of 7-18, I made many new friends, learnt new skills; ranging from dance to improvised comedy. It's a club well worth the investment for your children.
Avril Earl has got a great team of teachers, they have all been supportive over the years. My daughters have also enjoyed going to the UK for the past 7 years and recently attending the Dance World Cup representing the dance school & Guernsey.Thanks to the Avril Earl Centre my eldest is pursuing a career in dance in September.
Both my sons have attended Blondel Earl classes since early childhood and have got an enormous amount from their dance and musical theatre training. They have always been given lots of encouragement and challenges and have particularly enjoyed the addtional performing oppotunities like the school musicals and eisteddfod. The teachers put in a lot of effort and energy to make sure that very high standards are attained.
This is a wonderful environment for children to meet others with similar interests. All children are welcomed warmly and made to feel special by Avril and the other teachers. No matter what their level of skill or competence, each child is encouraged and praised and made to feel like their contribution matters to the school. This is a business that is run with standards and pride, but still manages to feel like a big extended family.
Love this dance school. Fantastic teachers and lots of opportunities to get on the stage. Three of my children dance and do musical theatre classes. My 16 year old son is going to dance college in the UK in September which has only been possible because of the support from the whole team at the Avril Earl Centre.
They do a fantastic adult ballet class every wednesday which I look forward to every week. Everyone needs an opportunity to dance and feel like a graceful swan once in a while...even if you feel like a pigeon!

I attended the Avril Earl Dance and Theatre Arts Centre 9 years ago and it was there I found my passion for theatre. The place always was a family and the teachers were proud of your achievements, 9yrs later and living miles away I am now a dance and drama teacher myself and I still email Avril for advice and help, which she offers up without question. Once you have been part of that school it is an experience which stays with you for life. I would whole heartedly recommend it.

Fantastic place. My daughter has been going there for 2 years now and loves it. It is the highlight of her week. She comes home and tells me all about it when I get home from work. Miss Tracey is lovely. Really good with her students, fun, friendly and encouraging.
They have nice teachers with a lot of enthusiasm and we do lots of fun things.

It is really enjoyable. All the people are really supportive of what you do (staff and pupils) and there are lots of opportunities in dance and musical theatre. The summer school is a wonderful experience like no other because of the specialist teachers they bring over from the UK.
It is a fun place to be and there is never a dull moment. You make a lot of friends and learn a lot.
