It is always great to stop by Avant Garden. I can find a unique gift for a friend or something nice for home. The staff are helpful and friendly, but Nick is particularly jolly. He really brings the shop to life. I think Guernsey is lucky to have a place like Avant Garden!

I always look forward to visiting Avant Garden, the unique decoration ideas and colour manages to create such a happy environment, which is felt as soon as you walk in the shop. While staff never fail to greet you and help you to find what you are looking for. When I go in the shop I am always made to feel welcome and at home. My friends always enjoy visiting it with me, however our bank account letting us down in the end as we cannot buy everything!

A wonderful shop to browse in and in lovely grounds right by Sausmarez Manor. Very ecletic in taste with one-off designer pieces; although also has company names that are stylish in their products offered. Staff at Avant Garden are extremely helpful and owner Nick very accommodating with delivery of larger purchases. He has a sound eye for choosing new ideas and themes for the store as well as scouting for products. I have now bought quite a few items and it is definitely a shop on my list for browsing. Something there for everyone.
