One of The Best of Guernsey's most popular members, Sueco, has been awarded the great accolade of The Bill Green Award for The Sueco Cookery School which was established by Hugh and Merrilee Tabel only 18 months ago.

The annual Bill Green Award is presented on behalf of the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce by the Young Business Group to a local company which has shown particular entrepreneurial spirit.

Hugh Tabel was clearly delighted with the award for the cookery school's team, particularly their chef, James Ferguson.  The cookery school offers courses for individuals and corporates including sports and social club events and team-building.

Filling a gap in the local market, Sueco Cookery School aim to give Guernsey people the opportunity to further their cooking skills in order to entertain at home or to help people learn to cook from scratch.

Hugh and Merrilee have great future plans for the school going forward including producing a book, live kitchen challenge and fund raiser and online instruction and teaching videos.

Well done Sueco Cookery School!

Showing great entrepreneurial spirt in Guernsey.
