Darren has helped me with intermittent sports injuries for several years, but I recently presented him with the additional challenge of helping me regain flexibility, strength and stamina after major abominal surgery. On medical advice, I had gone back to running three months after the operation, but after a few weeks my right side muscles knotted up and wouldn't release, to the extent that I could barely walk without pain. Darren was able to give me some immediate relief and then worked with me over a couple of months, building in a programme of pilates and single leg squats, as well as a gradual increase in intensity of a fast walking routine. As a result, I'm now on my way back towards running my full distance again without any problems. I can't say how grateful I am to Darren for his knowledge, skill and encouragement. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
