Students on Care courses kicked off the fundraising on Wednesday by holding a tea and cake sale for staff and students which raised just over £180. There was also a ‘name the baby’ competition for staff and students to enter with 11 pictures of staff when they were babies on display along with a selection of names to choose from – this provided much amusement! On Thursday and Friday Hospitality & Catering baked and iced Pudsey biscuits which were sold to staff and students, raising £300. On Friday staff and students came to college in either fancy dress or in ‘onesies’ with a competition for best dressed and best onesie. Josh Featherstone, a hairdressing student with expertise in barbering took a class on Friday afternoon answering questions from first year students and demonstrating his skills. On walking past the finance department at first glance it looked like it had been broken into with Police tape over the door, a smashed door, cash strewn across the floor and ‘robbers’ sat where staff would normally sit but actually it was the finance staff doing their bit for
