Grethe also has a great knowledge of the local business & events so you won't be twiddling your thumbs wondering what to do!I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Thorns Farm to friends, family or work colleagues as a picturesque home from home.
Of all the Bed and Breakfasts I have stayed at around the UK whilst competing in show jumping competitions, this is by far the nicest, the most comfortable and the most modern. The owners are incredibly kind and friendly and I will make sure I book in advance when competing at Arena UK again so I don't have to stay anywhere else! They have really done an outstanding job and I can honestly say from experience that if you're considering another bed and breakfast/hotel in the area - DON'T. You won't be disappointed by Thorns Farm!

Thorns Farm is fantastic, completely different to any other B&B that I know of. You have your own facilities and privacy in beautiful surroundings and it so convenient yet peaceful, just minutes off the A1 near Grantham. You need to stay there!

I went to Thorns Farm to advice on WIFI installation in their B&B accommodation and I was amazed about how spacious and well equipped the rooms were. It was like a small apartment with fitted kitchen & beautiful en-suite shower room. It would be an ideal place for anyone looking for a "Home from home" in Grantham

Thorns Farm is a comfortable, welcoming local B&B ideally located for anyone looking to explore Lincolnshire and the Midlands, taking part in local events, or just wanting to ‘get away’ from it all! The accommodation is clean, fresh and warm with the attention to detail and service offered by the owners a real delight. I would have no problem in recommending Thorns Farm as the ‘Best of Grantham’ in terms of B&B accommodation.

Had a great stay! Our room was really clean and well layed out. Our only tip would be to put a sign on the A1 so people can find you. (Steam fair at Belvoir Castle)
Lovely place, made to feel at home. Clean with a touch of luxury. Garden, wildlife, a bonus. It's like a 'a little Denmark' in the making. The trees will be wonderful wind breakers and we hope to see them and yourselves again. Takk for nu!
Excellent all round. We also loved the birdlife on our 4 day break, which can be seen in the garden; woodpeckers, wagtails, great tits, blue tits and robins

What a lovely Bed & Breakfast come self-catering apartment. My extended family recently used it as a base when they came to visit us for a weekend. They especially liked the help yourself breakfast and kitchen facility. I would definitely recommend it to other families and a very good choice for anyone using the room during their stay in Grantham
We stayed at the B&B in the summer of 2010 for four nights, the hosts were very frindly and helpful. It was very easy getting to and from the farm since it's located on the A1. On the farm were the B&B is located, there is a wooded area with several ponds, ideal for a walk after dinner.

We stayed at Thorns Farm B&B when visiting family in Linconshire. The self-contained apartment was very cosy and modern. Will definitily stay again.
Very friendly and welcoming owners, the place is lovely and cosy come and go as you like.
The owners are humorous, friendly, helpful and professional. The modern, comfortable accommodation is in the rural area (but close to Grantham, Newark and Nottingham), which makes it very accessible whilst being relaxing.
