We seached for a country pub that was open on a Monday evening and found The Peacock. Amazingly, for a Monday in early February, the restaurant was nearly full! Loads of atmosphere, food was delicious and excellent service....we will be back!

Great atmosphere. Good service from bar to restaurant. Enjoyed music and fire made it cosy and inviting. Not offered 2nd menu yet when pointed out - very generous to discount meal. Restaurant staff far more welcoming than The Windmill. Food delicious, wine excellent - will come again soon and tell our friends. Thank you. p.s. excellent olives

Food - beautifully presented and excellently cooked. Service - all staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome by The Peacock Inn near Grantham. Atmosphere - nice music and we really liked the open fire and wished we were sat in that area!!
