Addaction

Addaction is one of the UK's leading treatment charities, helping people with drug and alcohol problems up and down the country.

Addaction Grantham is one of three Addaction resource sites in Lincolnshire that specialise in drug and alcohol treatment. Anyone in Grantham requiring help for a drug or alcohol problem can be seen by the local Addaction team (or, if they prefer, make an appointment by phone).

Addaction's services are free to use and completely confidential. We aim to help people recover from their problems and find a way back into society, so that they can live a full and meaningful life, free from drugs or alcohol - and free from the label of being a drug or alcohol user (a stigma that has hindered so many of the people we support),

Every person who comes to us for help is allocated a friendly, professional key-worker, who will be there for them at every step of their treatment. That key-worker will assess the situation, and create a bespoke recovery plan with the service user, full of realistic and achievable goals.

These goals will focus on different areas of a service user's life, from their drug or alcohol use and financial advice to family support and help with employment. What's more, they will help instil a sense of self-worth and responsibility, so each service user has the skills to solve their own problems in the future, and is able to continue with their recovery.
