Tango Argentino for beginners & improvers
with Laurie Moseley and Jan Cone
Wednesdays
Out of the steamy bordellos of Buenos Aires comes a dance of smouldering passion and desire, intertwined couples surrendering to sensuous rhythms from the 1920s to the modern era. It's easier than it looks, and it looks terrific. After 10 weeks you should be able to go to a Milonga (a dance evening) and dance with any experienced partner. After that, the sky's the limit. You don't need a partner or previous dance experience, though if you have you'll be able to work on technique and new figures. Wear shoes with a smooth sole you can swivel on, and a slight heel.
